Every price comes from the vendor's own pricing page, recorded with the date it was last checked and a link back to the source so you can verify it yourself.
Pricing is re-checked continuously by an automated pipeline, not on a yearly editorial schedule. When a vendor changes a plan or price, the change flows through here.
Every check, an automated pass re-fetches each tool's own pricing page and records whether the prices we publish are still visible on it, then writes a dated, machine-readable audit at /data/price-checks/. A flagged price is never auto-changed — many vendor pages render prices in JavaScript, so a flag is a prompt to re-verify in a browser, not a silent correction. We never overwrite a number with a scraped guess; the vendor's linked page stays the source of truth.
Tools are ordered by an objective field — the cheapest paid plan — never by whether a vendor pays us. Some links are affiliate links that may earn us a commission at no cost to you, but that has zero influence on what we report or how we rank. If a tool gets more expensive or worse, we say so.
Pricing moves fast and pages localize. If a number here is wrong, the vendor's linked page is always the source of truth; we reconcile on the next check.
